Financial Information
Our 2008 fiscal year budget which began on July 1, is $5.149 million, almost 87% of which will go directly into our programs. The remaining 13% pays for research to measure program outcomes, program development, and agency administration.
Major sources of funding include government contracts, corporations, foundations, individuals, the United Way of Chicago, and our special events.
Last year, we raised nearly $1.4 million in funds from individual donations, corporations, foundations, United Way and special events. We are also supported by the Youth Guidance Foundation, established in 2005, which provides operating funds from the endowment it manages. Click here to see our 2008 budget.
