Become a Youth Guidance Community Connections Champion

Community Connections is a Youth Guidance program that provides resource connection and support to students and families across all Youth Guidance programs in Chicagoland.
Our Community Connections Resource Specialists support students and families with connections to housing, food, household items, employment and job training, public benefits, medical care, community mental health, substance use treatment, relationship violence services, legal support, and much, much more.

$300

$300 buys a whole household of furniture for a family, including delivery and set-up, via Chicago Furniture Bank* (CFB), a Youth Guidance partner. This is an essential resource for families transitioning into stable housing, as purchasing furniture is often a huge challenge. Through CFB, our families receive beds, dressers, living and dining room furniture, lamps, mirrors, kitchenware, and even artwork for their walls for a flat rate of $300!
