Joe Davis has a background of more than 20 years in healthcare, advertising, media, web development, graphic design, project management and all facets of the information technology field. Though his concentration is toward technology, Joe has a strong passion for social justice, health and welfare, advocacy of the arts and youth engagement.
He has managed or assisted on projects for Houston SPCA, Taproot Foundation, Chicago Architecture Foundation, Houston Food Bank, The Center for Hearing and Speech Development, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Innocence Project and Fresh Arts Coalition née Spacetaker. He has also sat on the Information Technology Program Advisory Board for American InterContinental University.
Joe joined Youth Guidance in 2016 as Director of Information Technology applying a structured IT Service Management model to supporting all of Youth Guidance’s staff, Board of Directors, associates and stakeholders. He is also an instrumental champion in the agency’s compliance, risk analysis, operations and accreditation initiatives.
Joe has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Louisiana State University and has earned Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Information Technology Infrastructure Library v3 Foundations and Professional Scrum Master certifications.
