Josh Esquivel

BAM Supervisor

Mr. Esquivel was born and raised in Los Angeles to immigrant parents who fled a civil war. Being the first generation born in the United States of America, he was also first in his family to graduate high school, attend and graduate from college. Committed to service, for the past 15 years, Esquivel helped launch and manage  enrichment programs for under-resourced communities. His work and programs received many accolades winning California’s Golden Bell Award in 2012. Supporters include U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, Mark Cuban and the Rothschilds Family Foundation. Today, Esquivel works as a BAM Program Supervisor while also serving as a consultant for several school art programs.

Fun Fact: I own a pair of never released Kobe Bryant prototype sneakers. Size 14.
