Ryan Crosby

Ryan joined Youth Guidance in 2017 and has over 15 years of education sector experience in Chicago. As the Senior Director of Evaluation and Quality Improvement, Ryan leads an organization-wide culture of learning and quality improvement to ensure high-quality, high impact service delivery. Under his supervision, the Department of Evaluation & Quality Improvement establishes a research and evaluation agenda for the agency and for each YG program, provides YG leadership and stakeholders with analytics and reporting, and implements a continuous quality improvement process for all agency departments.

Ryan previously worked at the Chicago Public Schools where he served in multiple capacities over 14 years, most recently as the Director of School Quality Measurement. In that role he led CPS’s accountability work, including the development of school and educator evaluation systems, analysis of district performance data, and development of scorecards and dashboards for reporting. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and History from Northwestern University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy.
