SPECIAL THANKS TO THE DAVEE FOUNDATION FOR ENDOWMENT GIFTS CREATING:

The Ruth D. and Ken M. Davee BAM Support Fund and The Ruth D. and Ken M. Davee WOW Support Fund.

The Davee Foundation was founded in 1964 by Adeline Barry Davee and Ken Davee. And the tradition continued with Ruth Dunbar Davee, Ken’s second wife. Ruth Dunbar Davee, became president of foundation when her husband died. She would go on to direct it for 13 years, until her death in 2011 at the age of 99.

Since its inception, The Davee Foundation has sought to improve the lives of Chicago area residents through a philanthropic commitment to excellence in higher education, arts, culture. health care, and society– enabling many young people and adults to achieve their dreams. The generous assistance of The Davee Foundation, bestowed on many, has been life-changing.

In 2018, The Davee Foundation created an endowment for BAM and WOW in memory of Ruth D. and Ken M. Davee. Their unbelievable support has enabled our programs to reach even more students, impacting their lives for the better to this day. We are forever grateful”
