YG Students Receive Support to Become #Hireable

On April 25th, Project Prepare hosted #Hireable, a career event featuring workforce development workshops and activities for 35 BAM and WOW students.  Interactive sessions for participants ranged from resume writing and mock interviewing to the art of developing a personal pitch and networking at a job fair. This school year, student participants took part in a new 11 session job readiness curriculum.  The event served as an opportunity to put their skills gained during the program into practice for the upcoming Project Prepare “Get Hired” job fair that will take place later this month.

Our thanks to all those who volunteered their expertise and time to our youth, including YG staff, Advisory Council members and Exelon employees.
